Press Credentials
All members of the media—whether employed by a print or digital publication, freelance, or self-employed—must obtain a press pass prior to attending an event hosted by the Samakab for House campaign.
Members of the press must wear their badges at all times for the duration of the event. At some events, there will be a designated area for members of the press. If that is the case, we ask that you remain in the designated area unless and until a staff member escorts you elsewhere. Press badges are to be returned to the campaign at the conclusion of an event. They will be kept on file for future events.
The Samakab for House campaign requests that all visual and/or audio media obtained during an event be made available for purchase to the campaign not later than five (5) business days after the event concludes. The campaign also requests that it be given the right of first publication of any or all such media on any platform. This right of first publication applies universally unless there is an event-specific written agreement between the campaign and the individual/publication that alters this right.
The campaign also requests delivery of a courtesy copy of any written coverage of an event not later than its date and time of publication.
